Facial Surgery: A Focus on Natural Support
My practice involves aesthetic facial surgery, alongside crucial work in oncological and reconstructive facial surgery.
I'm not a strong proponent of injectables like fillers or thread lifts—anything we put into the face or body that yields an artificial or unnatural result.
However, I am a firm believer in non-invasive ways to support the recovery process, especially after a surgical operation. Supplements based on Nicotinamide Riboside (NR), for instance, play a very important role in this.
The Science of NR and Cellular Health
NR is a precursor to NAD+, essentially a coenzyme that facilitates many processes in our cellular system, including energy metabolism. This greatly impacts how we feel overall. Furthermore, NAD+ is key to the production of elastin and collagen within our cells, helping to keep our skin younger and more elastic.
Of course, like most non-surgical treatments, it's not a miracle cure. It remains a non-invasive approach, but it is scientifically substantiated, and every little bit helps. We strive to integrate this into the preparation and aftercare for our patients.
Why I Believe in BRONN®
My reasons for believing in BRONN®, and for my involvement with them, are twofold:
- Innovation: NR is a new molecule, and this is the first time it's being used in dietary supplements in Europe.
- Integrity: They only work with scientifically proven products that have demonstrated their effectiveness in multiple studies.
